What a beautiful day it was yesterday..I spent the whole day at the pool just swimming and watching my kids have a blast.Braydon and Olivia were dying to go to Vacation Bible school so I let them go , They had a blast.
When we got home we just played around with the kids Joel and I . I love family time as all you guys know but around 9:30 p.m. The kids were playing with Oscar(our first family pet) and Olivia was trying to hand him to Braydon which remind you was on the top bunk of his bunk beds..Bad idea but they are kids so anyways Braydon didn't get a good grip on him and he slipped and fell down and broke his arm in 3-4 different places..Poor thing we felt horriable.
Joel rushed him off to the vet and needless to say it was amputate it or put him to sleep so we didn't want him to be miserable rest of his life so we just put him to sleep. We feel like Horriable pet owners but sometimes you just have to do whats best!
I can't believe how well my kids took the news that Oscar went to "doggy heaven". I told them if something else came up and we found a dog we liked we would possiably get it..we will have to see..for now I'm going to go and enjoy the evening...
